how do you convert the window switches to blue led's ??????( clio 172)

:Sim competent with a soldering iron , just need to know if you cut the origional led off the window switch and solder the replacement onto the existing wires , or if you remove it alltogether including the wire ? if so how do you get to the circuit board without breaking the pins inside ?
need help please . ive searched everywhere and cant find the answer

I was looking at doing the conversion. Decided against it but there was definately a thread that explained it. I don't know if it was in a member only section though.

update :done the locking switch,,heated rear windowswitch,,electric window switches,, and esp switch in blue ,,, cant decide weather to change the on off button to blue to . dont want it to look chavvy just subtle ?? what you guys think???

Are those 0603 SMDs just out of interest? Cause i have loads of these about.

Also, my poverty spec 1.2 doesnt have an LED ont he heated rear window switch, lights up an icon on the dash.

No mate I used 3mm led s 4200mcd from rapidonline.com. Also got some surface mount plcc-2 for the dash if I decide to do it lol
