How easy is it to notch out my bumper?

Basically at one point i will be getting a new back box for my mk2 ph2 clio 1.2 to make it look nicer (not sure which one yet, open for opinions) But i know sometimes when the exhaust is floating underneath the bumper it can look quite silly. So basically i could most likely do it at home but what tools would you need to use to cut it? Do you need to take the bumper off? Is it quite easy to do?

If you went to Charlie and Co at Prospeed, he will cut the recesses into the bumper should you require them. All you would need to do would be getting the surrounds for about £20 from Renault.
