Finally, I know for sure. I got around to weighing the last of what's been stripped today after Rentech Mike had his hands on it again, very pleased with the result...
The first stage (done ages ago) consisted of taking out the carpets, sound proofing, all interior trim except dash and roof lining, rear seats + belts, stereo + speakers, boot floor and parcel shelf, and came in at 65 kgs.
Today I weighed the driver's seat + mount, steering wheel, both airbags, carbon canister, fog lights, roof lining, power steering pump + tank + hoses, sun-visors + interior light, rear wheel/jack carrier, and that came in at 46 kgs.
I've added a race seat + custom mount, steering wheel + boss + spacer, driver's harness, and that lot was 14kgs.
Things I haven't weighed are my destroyed splitter, fuel rail, engine undertray and bonnet sound proofing, or the difference between the manual and powered steering rack...call that 7kgs (Mike reckons the rack alone was an easy 5).
Now I've still got the lardy passenger seat in there, so there's another 15kgs to be had by going for a lighter seat on that side, but as things currently stand, I'm at 917kgs, or 194bhp/ton.
Changing the remaining seat will get me to 197, so if my change to the manual steering has freed up 3bhp, I'll be at 200bhp/ton, for almost no money at all.

I love my Cup.
