How far can....

  clio mk1 ph3
I lower my mk1 ph3 1.2 which have 16's on already? Is 35-40mm the limit without rubbing or can i push it to 60mm? Also would it be better to buy just the springs or worth a kit with shocks?

cheers

I THINK 60mm is fine on a 1.2. Pretty sure it drops down to the same height as a 182 that's been dropped 40mm - and those run fine with no rubbage, apparently.

I'm soon to be dropping mine 40mm.

yeah, although mine's a 1.4, not a 1.2, its got 16's and lowered 55mm-60mm at the rear, and 35mm at the front, slight rubbing, but was easy to stop!!id go for 60mm!!oh and im cheap so i just bought the springs, hope this helps:
