How Hard Would it Be To Fit This.....?

  Coiley'd Clio PH2
Right, the other day i had the front bumper off and i noticed that the front panel member thing has been pushed back. Which would explain why the bonnet doesnt sit quite right.... must've been in a bit of an accident before i got it.

Well anyway, after a bit of searching on the internet i came across the replacement part for it. Looking at my car though, it appears to be welded in; so how would i replace this part?
Would it have to be done by a bodyshop?
Heres the part:

shouldn't be too hard to fit considering the pic is of 2 parts.

have you got a welder?

ideally you shoud spot weld them in , but you can just drill holes, grind where your welding to bare metal and weld the holes up. grind them down, then fill them.

btw, is your the front panel thats in proper mangled? maybe wrap a chain around it and give it a few pulls off a tree or something first?

Err, ive tried with a bottle jack to push it out but i cant get it back to the original shape entirely.
It looks like the mangled one is welded in though. How would i go about taking this one out?
I might see if i can get a bodyshop to sort it out.

drill the welds out with a spot weld drill bit. you can use a normal drill bit but just be careful you dont keep drilling right the way through or you'll be welding holes up all day.

bodyshop wud prob be best mate, i wud of said rivet it on but i suppose if you go to the bodyshop they can spot weld it in easily, wudnt take too long and shudnt cost too much.

I might just purchase the bit and get a bodyshop to weld it on.
Just to make sure a good job is done....
