How likely clocked for speeding

  Black 182 + Recaros

Was heading north last night on the M6 (about 8pm), I was doing about 90 whilst overtaking on the outside lane and suddenly noticed PC PLOD hiding on one of those raised parking areas (next to the hard shoulder). He didnt have any lights on and I never saw him until I went past. Thought he was gonna follow me, but he didnt.

The lighting was very poor and I doubt he could have read my number plate with his own eyes. Are there any portable devices that could have read my plate (night vision or something like that).

Do you think I got away with it ?

Probably mate, Id guess if he wanted to do you he would of pulled you over. They rarely use lasers at night, although it has been known but Im guessing if conditions are good they would wait for someone doing 100+

From posting on another car site which has police on it they usually say 95+ is a threshold unless driving is poor. Id guess (and hope) your in the clear mate ;)

Id wait 2 weeks incase an NIP comes through your door, but if it doesnt your probably safe. If they wanted to pull you they would have done so at the time, so dont worry about it.
