I've had two aftermarket systems. First i had a magnex twin cat back. Imo it sounded just right..... untill i got it decatted, then it was LOUD..... Sold that and got a prospeed, but again this was too loud for me. Now i'm running a decatted standard system. Much better on the ears lol. Not sure about the stealth, i've read than one guy on here is on his third centre section (mk2 stealth)

I've got the forthcoming GDI cat back on my 172 and its perfect. Noisy when you want it, and quite as a mouse when you don't.

got me a silenced decat prospeep system, just the right amount of noise, not to loud, but gives a nice racey tone when you boot it

Hi! What one person calls loud another person might not. As for the Ktec Stealth, on medium revs I sometimes get people walking down the street turning round to see whats coming. I'd term that as loud, but a lot of people on here have ktecs and don't think they are.

I have a REV2 k-tec stealth and I like it, when the car is cold it's barley louder than standard but once warm it does have a fairly deep tone up to 3k then it rasps a bit. All in all it's fine as a day to day system.
