How much abuse will a mk2 172?

I was wanting to take her to a track day, but wasn't wanting to then spend alot of money afterwards on new brakes clutch etc, she is a 2004 with 41k miles and great condition, what are your thoughts?

Will be fine. I've done 3 track days this year and no problems. Just need to keep an eye on the usual stuff.

As long as it's serviced and looked after it will be fine. Chris off here has a cup that's on 130k and has done loads of track days and ring trips. It's a quick car now

You will have to watch brakes and tyres i guess, that's it. Change oil more often when you're going all out revving the tits off of her

No it won't. Drive it hard and they can take it, drive it like a mong and it will break.
