how much brake fluid does a 172 neeD?

hiya as title really. once drained how much brake fluid does a 172 need? i know a williams is a litre but thats not much use...

if it has ABS, NEVER EVER EVER drain the system, just bleed it through

its just over 1L for the entire system

What fred says +1 as you'll never get the air out the ABS pump without clip to cycle the pump.

Going to be changing my fluid this weekend, along with fitting stainless steel brake lines... you will need just over 1L to bleed through the whole system.
