How much could I sell my Clio for?

  1.2 16v (Race Spec)
Morning,

I am shortly going to put my 1.2 16v Dynamique 3dr up for sale but not sure how much to ask.

It's a Sept 2003 '53' 1.2 16v 3dr Dynamique in Metallic black
1 owner
FSH - Renault Specialist (stamped) every year - family friend.
It had the style pack which cost me £800, which included the met paint and the xenon pack
33k miles
Will have 12 months MOT as of Monday 9th
RFL until Feb 07
Completely standard.

It's in fairly good condition, however, 3 wheels are scuffed, it has a small dent just by the rear o/s light. It has cracked the paint but the affected area is about 3ins big. There is also a few scuffs and scratches on the rear bumper. Last bit, the aerial snapped off completely which I haven't replaced, so only picks up the local stations.

Not sure whether to replace/rectify these bits, as I'm not sure whether I can sell it for much more.

What d'ya reckon?

  Turbos.
I would look on Autotrader to see the range in prices at the moment.

I think everyone expects wheels to be scuffed, but personally and dings or noticeable scratches would make me think the car hasn't been looked after, and so i'd walk away.

Your best bet is to check out what price similar cars are selling for on Autotrader , that'll give you a rough idea of its value . If you going to advertise it on Autotrader , price it slightly higher than you actually want for it , say in the region of £300 ish , also sell it with o.n.o so the potential buyer knows there is some room for bargaining .

I'd get the scuffs on the bumper , the aerial , the dent and cracked paint sorted if i was you . It does kind of say that its car that hasn't been too well looked after imo . I wouldn't worry too much about the alloys as most alloys on a car thats a couple of years old will have some sort of marks , its more or less unavoidable .
