How much for new brakes?

Brakes are feeling a little tired now. They don't seem to me slowing me as well as they used to.

Ive been quoted £89.00 for replacement front disks and pads, fitted with a year guarantee.

Does that seem right? Or do you suggest anything cheaper or better?

this is for a 1.2 16v by the way. They are just your basic pads & discs. What halfords or a motorfactor would give you.

I picked up a set a while back off the bay for £30ish (discs and pads) then diy'd them.

I payed 13 quid for some pads from a motor factors. OEM ones too.

I wouldnt pay that youd propably get disks and pads for under £60 and fit them in 20 minutes

we keep the pads on the shelf at £14.99 a set and discs depending on size either 238mm £9.99 each and 259mm £14.99 each,most local motor factors should be around the same sort of price tbh,all aftermarket items have to reach a certain quality nowadays aswell so all decent quality
