how much is it worth ?

2001 51 plate 172 in monaco blue , currently on 46k so due a service, 2 owners from new, uk spec , hpi clear , slight kurbing to wheels, good amount of tread left on tyres - contis on the front dunlops on the back , new standard renault zorst gitted 6k ago. bloke used to have a westfield so this was his run about , he said the westfield got stick this was just for comuting etc. thinking of buying it , what is it worth ? he has given me some rough prices of what he wants but just wanted to check what you guys thought ?

i always find the best thing to do is look on autotrader for similar cars / specs and compare to that. Maybe 6 - 6.5k? at a guess

well he has said 5.5k with out the service done , or 5.9k with it done. what do you think ?

i would offer the 5.5 given that there are no problems- if there are problems that you think will affect the MOT then go with the 5.9k.
personally i would offer the 5.5k and get the service done myself, idont have a clio 17 so im unsure how much a servie cost's?!

Is it the cambelt change service? otherwise a £400 price hike is a little excessive. I assume its a phase 2, sounds reasonable, certainly not above average.

well it would be the 48k service if im correct but it will be 5 years old this year so i pressume its the cambelt service , if it is the cambelt service that he has done at 48k then should i offer 5.7k ?

ok need some more advice 2002 full fat in monaco , mint , 28k , 11 months mot, 4 months tax, serviced 4k ago. was 7.1k have knocked them down to 6.5 k good deal ?

I bought a silver 172 recently with a few dings and kerbed wheels for £6250. It had 11 months MOT and had been serviced in October. It had 24k on the clock.
