***How much is it worth?***

52 Plate 172 Cup
135k Miles
Few invoices, belts done last in 2013
Good exterior condition, however wheels could do with a refurb
Currently no MOT

Only work which needs doing are rear brake discs and new tyres

Who's car is it? Cups hold their value providing belts have been done?

Just read they have. Who's car is it?

A mate has got it, although looking to shift it on relatively quickly so I'm half tempted to give her some love, do the work which needs doing, put her through an MOT and sell it on and make a bit of cash

Just working out how much I should be willing to fork out incase it all goes tits up haha

Scrap that, belts were done in 2011, with receipt of parts from Renault

That'll knock the value down sharpish - So basically a 172 Cup, 135k Miles, Service history up to 112k Miles, No MOT, needs belts doing, will also need new rear discs and tyres to pass MOT

Don't think this is something that'll tempt me, as it does seem like it'll need a fair bit of money spent on it

hi everyone I hope this is ok to post but i need some advice

i have been the owner of a Clio van for the last 14 years but sadly it's time to say good bye , with children and daddy day care duties i just need more seats

I'm a self employed electrician and have used the van for my business since buying it new , it's only covered 68k miles with full service history and almost every options box ticked when i bought it
roof rack , towbar , full length parcel shelf , sports kit

i need to sell it with in a week as the new vehicle is ordered , the dealers have offered me £300 but i'm loved to trade in such a well loved van for this
Is a 14 year old clio van just a cheap van and worthless or are they a bit special ?

do i take the trade in money and move on or sell it ?

if so where and for how much , do i take the gamble of ebay and start low and see what i get or is a more specialist market such as your selves a better market ?

you just don't seem to see these vans for sale so have no idea what they are worth and what market to advertise it in

do they go cheap as they are to small for most builders looking for a van or is the smallness something that people look for

can anyone offer any advice please ?
Is this available still??

Still if its cheap its worth a gamble. Any pics etc
Not exactly the best advertising photos of it - it could do with a good clean and a bit of time spent on things like restoring headlights, refurbing alloys, etc

It would be amazing how much difference a clean and some decent photos would make it look, these photos definitely don't help sell it lol

What you reckon a safe offer is? Don't fancy losing money lol
If I was to do it up you'd be looking at £150 for new rear discs and pads all around, £400 for belts and dephaser, £200 wheel refurb and some time and effort = ~£750-£800

So then it's all up together and looking good, can't see me getting more than £1500 for one on 135,000 miles? Even if she's tidy and all belts done

Hi all,
New to the site, after weeks of pestering I finally convinced a good friend to sell me his Clio 182 ff, the car is completely standard apart from alpine head unit, it has been garaged from new and only covered 13k with fsh.
Having owned the car 6 months I have yet to do anything to her, problem is I get the modifying bug bad with any car I own, but feel this car is to good to modify.
How much do you guys think it should be worth to a collector out there?

As cool as it is with that mileage, I can't see a collector being majorly interested as it was a FOC colour choice and not a limited edition.

I'd stab at £4500 if you can find the right buyer.

If it's as clean and good as the mileage suggests, had the necessary belt change etc then i'd say 5.5k, or hold onto it for a while and get a lot more. Cracking buy.

I bet Rsport would sell for about 7k no doubt.

Think your right I'll hold onto it for a while, maybe do a few tasteful mods but keep all standard parts.
The plate on its own is worth £1500 !
Thanks
