Due to getting a Fiesta ST, I'm selling my car, would like an idea of what mine is worth though.
55 plate BG, cupped pack 182, 73k on the clock, Recaro's from factory, lowered on cooksport springs.
In definite need of tlc, or can be used as a donor. It was in a minor front end bash prior to my ownership.
1 alloy badly scratched, the rest are OK. All 4 tyres are Kumho Ecsta with ~5k on.
Drivers side read window has mismatched paint all around it, not sure why exactly, it was there when I bought the car.
The exhaust is currently blowing, I believe from between the manifold, but I'm not sure.
Not looking to sell it for too much given the exhaust issue, just looking for a value.
EDIT - Forgot to add that the Cambelt was changed by Danny @ 519 in March 2013.

Picked up the 172 today, Serv light was on with the airbag light. Reader said passenger buckle/tensioner open circuit. Fitted after market connector block, sorted!
Found a few more marks/dents and dephaser is a little noisy, but everything else OK.
Chuffed for £900!

Nice, Depahser and belts will set you back best part of £700 so thats a £1600 purchase, Bloody cheap if its all in good nick bar that.
Want people views on the value of my car if possible.
Its a 2004 Black 172, 62,800 Miles.
It has Recently has some very expensive repair work...
New exhaust
New Dephaser, All belts and tensioners, new AC pipe and regas, new heater matrix, Various suspension parts replaced. All done at a Renault Specilists. (2 weeks ago)
Had Loads of work done last year too.
Its also having loads of paint repairs done over the next month so should help with value

perhaps start it out at 2250...
it really depends on overall what it looks like in the flesh
chips/ dents / alloys/ tyres/ interior & so on.
If it was a minter then maybe mid 2 s but for every mint one out there theres probably 30 shi**ers

Wow, I paid too much for it then.
Paid 2.5 from a dealer with a 24 month warranty, Then paid out a grand on repairs. Plus Tax and Insurance so my outlay is a cool 4k i would say.
BUT, I'm happy with the car, Its great I plan on looking after it well.
There was a 2002 Clio 172 at the same dealers for 2.2k and its also sold.. and that one was in a poor condition.
Its a pain that the dealer hasnt repaid me for some of the repairs like he was supposed too

hey guys just getting a feel for the value of mine my car is a ph2 172 on an 2002 02 plate has full history not all dealer but book is stamped 97k had full service all belts and dephaser 4 new tyres all new fluids g/box brake fluid also just has a new steering rack lowering springs de-cat has now done 104500 on the clock i have around £3.5 k on it since i got it (i know its a lot ) but it was where i want my car to be now it has cruise control fitted aswell

I'm thinking about parting with my Clio. I've ended up doing a lot more mileage than I expected, and I don't want to end up running the car into the ground ... plus I'm kind of being forced to get a bigger car in the near future.
Originally I wasn't planning to sell until at least early next year, but I thought I'd weight it up to see if it's worth selling now or waiting for a while.
Bought it last Aug from Steve @ R-Sports, so he can vouch on the condition when it was sold.

VGC inside and out, has the lovely Recaro Trendlines.
As the Recaros were a factory fitted option, I have the rear cup bench in the garage, but have replaced them with a set of standard rear seats.
Had new OEM rear discs and pads @ 59k
Having new front discs and pads (Brembo HC / Mintex M1144), brake fluid change and a 'full' service this weekend.
Michelin Pilot Sport 3s (6mm) on the front, Pirelli P-Zeros (6.5mm) on the rear.
Scorpion RS192 exhaust.
As I mentioned, supplied by R-Sports, so an incredibly mint and straight car, with only the best care and parts added since.
All receipts for the car too.

Forgot to mention its got a small crease where someone decided to open their car into it, and the air con needs re-gassing. They're literally the only bad points on the car.
Had the aux belt done 12 months ago, taxed until July, flew through last MOT in Sept / Oct time.
If someone offered me £3.5k I'd probably sell up now tbh - It's weird but I don't think it's 'fair' to put mega mileage on a car like this, it'll only de-value it massively, and take it out of the hands of someone who could potentially run (and enjoy) it for years and years doing less mileage.

Before I start, I know that everyone hates valuation threads, but I am struggling slightly on this one. I'm considering moving over to a megane RS and chopping my 200 in for it, but I'm yet to find a car thats the same mileage, spec etc as mine on the net. Here she is.......

I'm completely un-affiliated with them, in fact, I'd never buy anything from them, but if you want a quick and easy sale, K-Tec have just started selling cars, and I know they're offering quite good rates for buying used stock, might be worth having a chat with them.

need your help please chaps ,I'm trading my car in for something nicer in the next coming week ,what should i be expecting for my car as trade value ,my car is a 2006 reg corsa sxi plus (last of the old shape),50k 12 months mot and 6 months tax , full service history and 2 owners including my self .Car is in average condition but mechanically perfect and wants for nothing ,or and it's the worst colour silver boo hoo ,Thanks chaps.
