I'd be inclined to put that up for £2,850... especially outside of this forum! Great colour, low miles and almost completely standard sounds like a winner to me.
Belts are due though

MagpieV6Morning. Christ its been a few years since I was on here, hope all is well..
Anyway, my Flame Red, FF Mark II 172 is gathering a hell of a lot of dust, so needs shifting. Plus, I'd moved down here to London a while back and who needs a car down here?! It's been off the road for a couple of years (declared SORN, locked up in a garage), so will need a new battery and a bit of tlc, but, main things;

Belts done at 30k I think, a few years ago, but probably need doing again in the next 12-18 months.
I *think* the brakes & tyres are all decent.
Standard all-round.
There is a cup spoiler and a spare clutch in the boot though (if anyone wants?)
Manifold needs replacing as its blowing a little.
Bodywork is probably average for a car this age, so few scratches here and there, although the interior is pretty decent.
Air con will def need a good going over too!
What do you lot reckon its worth?
Belts are due though
On the hunt for one of these, might be a bit far, but any photos?
Replied to PM's.
As mentioned not in any rush so will hold out for price.
It would be worth 3750/3800 if it was the following-
A dealer sale,Full dealer History, Cambelt less than 2.5 years ago & done by a Renault dealer or well known specialist, Excellent branded tyres. No marks.
The fact the belts are semi due, the fact its a private sale its nearer 3k, probs 3250 -3400 tops.
Also the bit with the belts, you haven't said whether the aux belt kit was changed & who changed the belts- if it was an independent garage then all it does is knock the price more.
the reason the above cars are still on AT is because they haven't sold because they are way overpriced. - & you cant compare dealer prices V private sale prices. ( if you were )
GLWTS
Best of luck with the sale Jordi.
If you actually want to sell it I would list it on here for £3750 & go from there. It looks a nice car.
It does effect price, more so in enthusiasts eyes than it does joe public-
Local garages will use Non OEM parts, & more often than not change the cambelt & the aux belt only. There will be no inspection of the water pump or dephaser pulley & they probably wont use the correct tools.
Just because its running, doesn't mean to say its running well.
I would say the price difference is less pronounced the further you get down the years its been done, so if its been done 3 years ago it wont matter so much, however if its just been done by bodgit & scarper with a yin yan belt & no aux kit that does effect what its worth V if its been done by say birchdown with all the belts done properly inc aux belt kit.
You get what you pay for......

2 belt changes, last 05/13 with receipt (No idea on dephaser or aux belt though)
says its scratch/dentless outside & interior is good condition
1 key
part service history (serviced by himself)
That's pretty much all the info I have. I have an idea if it's good condition but wanted your thoughts!
Still on the hunt for my 1st 182, Ideally wanting a black/blue one, but this one is quite local to me.

when asking about cams/pulleys, aux belt and waterpump, he replied:
I didn't even discuss price yet, but he said:
I noticed on one image there is bodywork damage on the rear quarter passenger side
Think this an approach with caution, its 45 minutes drive from me.

You've highlighted a bit in red, also theres a whopping great big dent above it.
Looks like it was previously owned by someone on here? Wonder if there's any information kicking about.
I would not bother with that by the look of how much is it ?Yeah, didn't even notice that!
If anyone could shed any light on it that would be great, the guy whos been emailing me has gone silent after emailing the photos of the damage and asking he he had any photos of the service history, receipts etc
