***How much is it worth?***

  clio 172
To be honest without seats steering wheel and brake around 2.5k only thing I think I put put back to standard is the wilwoods as I know I would have a hassle selling them

  clio 172
Not in a hurry to sell I may buy another ph1 to keep the sunflower miles down and keep it good if I decide to defo sell I think I would put it on eBay with a reserve saves having to deal with people on gumtree ect who don't know what their looking at

Silver 182. 110k. Needs belts doing. 2 new tyres and a full exhaust recently put on. Clean, standard car.

I was thinking £1250 due to belts and probably dephaser

Cooksport springs & cup dampers.

Belts and dephaser changed in May '14 by BTM
I've attached a list of everything changed/ maintenance during my ownership.
Thinking of selling and would like a realistic idea of value.

Any other way to proof belts were done? You can clearly see difference between 7 and 1 year old belts...

But can you tell the difference between 3 and 5 year old belts?

No invoice from a reputable garage = belts need doing.

These cars are worth next to nothing now so a £600 job is quite a big deal.

If you had proof of belts i'd say 2k or so, and same price with all the parts so i'd return it to standard.

After a bit of advice on how much I should be looking to spend on a 2008 197 cup with recaros, under 70k miles in good condition? It's a real pickle as prices seem to be all over the place. Advice much appreciated.

There is an invoice worth £1600 to prove all the above work has been carried out.

BodyWork -
The bodywork is NOT the best and there is a lot of issues but nothing that stops the car running.
There is a lot of stone chips on the front bumper. There is bad lacquer peel on the front bumper also.
There is a dent in the O/S/R quarter exactly under the side strip which is there and can be seen but once again is not that big or bad. The rear quarter has also a lot of lacquer peel on the bottom of the rear quarter and along the side skirt.
There rear bumper has either been hit from the rear or reveresed into something as there is very small hairline cracks but the paint is not burst.

Items Not Working -
Only thing that does not work on the car is the headlight washer jets on the front. I have had all the pipes off and and airline down them and it all seems fine so its down to the pump in the screen wash bottle.

For Pictures of the car please see here

Trying to gauge a rough price on my turbo ph1 172.

86k
Will have it mot'd by Clioturbo for potential buyer.

Adaptronic ECU.
Garrett gt2560.
Low comp pistons.
Megane head gasket.

Plus many many more things that are included in the stage 2 kit.

Suspension/Chassis:
Speeline 2118 anthracite with not a single imperfection on them. Refurbed last year.
Nankang ns2-r covered about 2k in total.
Gaz GHA coilovers.
Cup wishbones.
Powerflex wishbone bushes.
Lemforder ball joints (went on same time as the turbo)
19mm hubcentric spacers on the front.
10mm shims on the rear. Standard camber.

£2K, I'll come for it on Saturday [emoji106] [emoji1].

Seriously that's very nice and got should just keep it. Forever!

2k and a packet of quavers and then I'll maybe entertain the idea 😂

Aw mate don't get me started, I would if I could. I hate being an adult! Haha.

Gonna see what the CS experts reckon:

2004 BG 182
106k
FF, but has 172 wheels and no splitter
Cambelt / Dephaser due
Shite service history
Currently SORN, will need MOT
Decent tread on tyres
Yozza exhaust
Bodywork not horrific, front fogs are cracked (just the glass) and there's 1 or 2 car park dings, a couple of scratches on the roof.
Interior is okay, bar the steering wheel - it's melted to hell (par for the course with Clios)

I was thinking £1k tops, tbh

Black 06 plate 3.0si Z4, red leather, 36000 miles, has the 'star style' alloys, £8300 about right?

I thought I'd priced my 172 pretty well but I have had little genuine interest:

http://www.cliosport.net/threads/iceberg-clio-172-new-cambelt-dephaser-£1750.789538/

From the for sale ad:

Spec:
Clio 172 '53 Plate
115,000 miles - will increase slowly.
Comprehensive Service History
MOT April '16 - Will put 12 months on for the asking price.
Oil Service Due April '16
Cruise Control
All the usual 172 refinements!
2 Keys

Work that has been completed within the last year (receipts to prove):
-Cambelt and Dephaser Pulley
-Oil Service completed with the above
-4x New Michelin PS3's
-Replaced CAT
-New Mid Section
-New Back box
-Rear Brakes replaced, new rear caliper fitted
-TDC sensor replaced with new type
-New injector

Bad points:
-Rear bumper has slightly melted where a previous exhaust was mounted incorrectly (can be seen in photos).
-Small dent on rear quarter near filler cap - can't really be seen unless you are looking for it!
-Wheels could do with a refurb to be mint.

Bodywork is otherwise very good for it's age!

Plenty of other photos in the thread. I thought this was a really good example of an unmolested 172, but no-one seems to be that bothered lol!

Looks nice, I liked the advert when it went up. But tbh it's price and colour, although I like silver, monaco or flame red as an example would sell much quicker. For a 'quicker' sale it needs to be 1400/1500. Imo

Thanks for the quick response, I'd priced it as such because of the amount that's been spent on it. but if it's not a desirable colour/spec I suppose it is what it is.

Have had a few silly offers on eBay but nothing in particular on here.

It's only my opinion tbh. But clean ones will still be worth a few quid. Yours looks nice but around that price range there are hundreds to pick from. Glwts though mate

  RS182 Full Fat
I have a set of half leather front and rear seats from a 182 sport full fat.. you know the ones. I don't have pics yet as the front are still in the car. But the condition is good. no tears or sags. I'll probably clean them before taking any pics although they look good already. How much should i post in the parts for sale section?
