Can't see the wheels, but it sounds like that isn't a bad thing. Certainly not with the replacement!

If it's had the belts done in the last 3 years, I'd say it'll be worth minimum £3.75k in standard form, it's rare to see an RB to go for less than that unless it's really ropey. Selling the seats and wheels separately like you suggested is probably your best bet, as they'll be worth more off the car than on it.

The parts/engine alone would fetch that. RBs are always priced above Blacks and more so over Silvers. There are some proper nails out there for £4,000.

To OP - get some proper detailed pictures of everything and put a post up with what you think it's worth. Go from there.
He's had the car for 6 years and " no service history." 😲 it's not an engine I'd want to buy. So that's a £700ish bill straight away. He says car park dents. So I'm assuming it's got more than the odd small dent here and there. The bonnet is more than likely suffering the big dent at the front where it's been pressed down to close, also inside the seam along the front edge on the drivers side could be hiding rust, this is where they usually rust. That's another couple of hundred £££s to sort them if you want the car to look half decent, it might even need a new bonnet plus spraying. I'm also assuming that if the bodywork isn't that great the alloys won't be too. So that's another few hundred quid. So you're already up to £1200 - £2000, depending who you use to sort out these problems and the standard you want to bring the car back to.
With only a very, very brief description and no pics then it's all guess work at the end of the day. No rust could mean no visible rust, yet. The rear wheel arches, behind the petrol filler cap are all places that could be problematic in the very near future, so more £££s to sort it.

You are right. It’s only worth £500. @Mr Underhill pull yourself together 😂😂

I’m just trying to get a value of it. In my ownership it been garaged and mot time it gone to the garage and had what it needed. From memory injectors, coil spring alternator and battery. I had the brakes overhauled new braided line front and rear discs and pads ds2500 drilled and groved front discs and a new rear calipers. It has been serviced a few times but not every year if I’m honest. Bear in mind in the 6 years I had it I’ve done 3k in it. I thought I had service history with it but on closer inspection this is for another clio I only noticed this week and was supplied when I got this clio. I have had the rear cards out and can’t find any rust. I will get some pictures up later to see what you think. Thanks Matt

A couple of small creases in the passenger door and dent in the drivers door plus it’s creased by the lock there with Bumper‘s got a scrape in one of the corners, and the front passenger wing is few scratches on it.

I stand by what I said earlier. £2750 for somebody who wants to bring it back to a good condition, plus Cambelt and aux belt will need doing. It needs a lot of body work looking at the pics costing a few £££s if it's done to a good standard.
For somebody who just wants to drive it and not too bothered about the condition you might get more.

Regrettably I’ll be listing my rb 182 for sale soon 😔
Just looking for some input on its current value. Don’t want to over/under price it.
I’ve owned the car since October 2020 when it was then on 131k.

The car is an 04 plate currently on 148k.

Engine:-
Had the all the belts/dephaser/water pump etc done last May/June at Renomotive by Stu, including a full major service.
During this work Stu discovered the car has 197 cams. I have a receipt for a couple of mapping sessions at EFI where it made 189.3 bhp and 166.1 lbft.
Engine is really strong, this wee thing flies for what it is.
All 4 fuel injectors replaced with genuine Magneti Marelli ones and new O’rings for the fuel rail connection
Ran on 99 fuel only in my ownership.
New battery.
Powerflex poly top engine mount.
Ramair induction kit.
New decat and manifold flange.
Scorpion stainless exhaust is loud but sounds great, especially during spirited driving.

Gearbox:-
Gearbox was overhauled in 2019 by Henderson Transmissions, I have a receipt for this too.
New Powerflex poly dogbone and Febi gearbox mount fitted at Renomotive in May/June.
New selector bush and circlip.
Gearshift feels great.

Brakes:-
Brembo 4 pot callipers up front treated to new 300mm Brembo HC discs and Mintex 1144 pads. Cal brackets replaced with new PMS kit as the olds ones were rotten. Again at Renomotive last June.
Just had the rear discs and pads replaced with standard OEM.
Braking performance is extreme.

Suspension:-
Suspension all replaced in 2021. New genuine Renault cup shocks (60mm cup hubs), top mounts and H&R springs.
Polybushed wishbones and anti roll bar and full geometry setup at ALM.
Eibach camber bolts.
Handling is absolutely spot on.

Exterior:-
Unmarked Trophy Turini’s with new genuine Renault centre caps.
Avon ZV7 tyres with loads of tread.
Cup spoiler and Fabia front splitter.
Headlight washer blanks from BTT.
PMS front towing eye.

Interior:-
OMP steering wheel with new horn button.
PIAA Motorsport horn.
New Alpine stereo and upgraded Hertz speakers all round.
Rear bench has been removed and a yellow half cage fitted.
One piece rear custom boot carpet, recent genuine Renaultsport mats in the front.

There is probably more I’ve forgotten about, but roughly £5-£6k spent in the last couple of years to keep it somewhat reliable and making wee improvements as things broke.
No fault lights on the dash.
Lots of bodges from previous owners eradicated also but some remain, detailed below.

There are a few issues though being 19 years old and been used daily probably most of its life.
Rear drivers side arch is rusty and there are some minor stone chips and a couple of very small scratches here and there.
Slight power steering leak on full lock intermittently. Fine for use now but will need addressed soon.
Only 1 key.
Slight brake judder when I drove it last, might be down to it being parked up or I’ve not bedded in the pads properly (calipers are all free).
Exhaust rattles, had it fixed so it sits straight but still rattles 🤷‍♂️
Front carpet stops just past the front seats (previous owner must have cut this in their infinite wisdom 🤦‍♂️).

Prices are all over the place so I’ve no idea where to start.

Hi all,

Considering selling my Clio 182 in liquid yellow (05 plate).

I don't have any recent pictures although I have some older photos if that helps, the car is currently stored in the garage at my parents house and has been off the road for about 4 and a half years.

The car was in good working order when I stopped using it, however the gearbox was beginning to crunch when going into 4th I believe. So rather than fork the cost of sorting that at the time (plus the day to day running costs, money was tight) I took it off the road.

The interior is in good condition and the exterior is for the most part - there is a small den ton the bonnet from being closed (I think this is relatively common?), And there is a dent on the passenger rear quarter from a small bump (can provide pictures etc on the weekend likely).

Car milage is currently sat on around 125k - 130k.

As car has been sat for so long I would expect there to be some tlc required (new battery etc as I didn't disconnect it 🙃)

Any thoughts/questions would be appreciated

Edit: forgot to mention, not that it would matter much, currently has turinis in black

Has to be worth over 5k with the belts and other TLC done, don’t see LYs for sale very often, and at least on the Facebook groups people go crazy for them.

Thanks for the comments. I will likely look to get it 'road ready' with new belts etc as you say so its as attractive as possible. Trouble is once I have it running again I know I won't want to let it go! :D

The mileage haircut it had might also put people off, what’s the story with that? I’m just interested more than anything.

Always hoping/expecting if the day came where I was going to need a couple of thousand pounds (much like my current situation where we are looking to move house so it would help contribute to solicitor fees etc) I could always sell it, or failing that I would once again find myself in a position whereby I would have the money to spend on it and use it again. I've been lucky enough my parents have a large enough garage I've been able to simply hold onto it. :)

That’s a good spot, it’s probably the second best colour behind Racing Blue, but that’s going to kill the value of that car sadly!

Thanks for the comments all, it is a shame, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this too - when you hpi check it it comes up with another car as being written off?
In all honesty it's not even something I looked twice at when buying the car because it was such a good price at the time 🙃

Weld in seat rails
121kg of wight Stripped out so should be - 900kg with more that will come out.
Needs mapping to suit the above mods. Basically ktec 163kit.
New but out of date bimarco seats and sabelt belts.
New brembo front discs and cl pads.
New rear discs and pads.
Oil service.
4 new dry rally tyres.
4 used Inters
2 used dry
Full set of spare lights
1 spare long drive shaft.
New tank gaurd not fitted.
Standard rear suspension with new rear springs.
New perspex front windows with sliders.
Would make a nice track car as it is or finishing to go rallying.
