Nah be a good buy for someone
Exactly! Take some lovely photos. Proper ad, someone may rip your arm off that way at least you know you did right out of it. If it doesn’t sell, well next year you can come to CSF and we can get pissedI might so that Russ, seems a sensible option. I'm not interested in letting it go for a song that's for sure
I did it Russ, I'm sure I'll regret it as I did last time!Exactly! Take some lovely photos. Proper ad, someone may rip your arm off that way at least you know you did right out of it. If it doesn’t sell, well next year you can come to CSF and we can get pissed
Just for comparison, I think my Pearl Black Phase 1 is valued around £3.5k, on nearly 140k miles with decent service history but multiple owners. I think around £5k would be a fair price seeing as I've only seen around 2 or 3 oddessy blue phase 1's for sale in the past year, but they might only give you £4k due to the higher miles. There is that one on ebay for around £9k, so just point them in the direction of that and hope for a juicy payout.Okay this is a loaded one, bin man backed into my phase 1 couple weeks back and looks like their insurance is going to send an estimator/valuer to view the car and then pay out the value as it will be uneconomical to repair (they have to use genuine panels etc).
as such what do we think i should be asking for her?
Oddy Blue, 160k, pretty much full service history, low owners, complete, pretty original, no rust
5k ish?
Guess it depends how prices go. When next year?
Honestly you'd probably make more money by selling off all the nice bits on it and returning it to stock. With the belts done you could get around 2.7k to 3k, and then selling off the bucket seats, shifter and other parts would probably make you a decent amount to go along side the car sale. What's it worth?
It'll be due belts later this year. I'm thinking £2.5k without belts, maybe push to £3.5k with Belts at Diamond Motors, recent service and MOT?

James' 182
As promised back in 2018, I'm back in the game. Picked up this nicely modified 182 a couple of weeks ago, properly happy with it so far. Quick spec as follows Induction Kit K Tec Exhaust Pure Motorsport Strut Brace Whiteline Anti-roll bar BMS Shifter Corbeau Clubsports Turn 1 Wheel Turinis...cliosport.net
I did consider that but I unfortunately have none of those standard parts and really can't be bothered sourcing them and swapping them!Honestly you'd probably make more money by selling off all the nice bits on it and returning it to stock. If you do plan to sell it as is next year, I'd be interested in buying it.
I'd potentially be interested in this at £2.5k depending on when you'd like to sell it, and my situation at the time. I've been thinking recently about getting another car, but not sure if to get another Clio, or something rwd/convertible.
Don't suppose the Clubsports are XL?
Not the end of the world for me, I'd probably replace at least the drivers seat anyway. But in reality only need one seat in the car, as the misses hates them, and the kids are too young to sit in a bucket seat just yet. Part of the attraction of getting something like this to be honest. They're the narrow size I'm afraid mate. I'll definitely market it on here before resorting to eBay and then facebook.
Fair point. Since they were discontinued finding them for a reasonable price is actually quite difficult, you wouldn't have trouble selling them for a lot more than they were new. Shame. Not the end of the world for me, I'd probably replace at least the drivers seat anyway. I dunno what you’d get for it, but I’d buy it. Decent car with a few tweaks and a lot of miles.. fine by meThinking of whacking this up on Collecting Cars so looking to see where I should be setting my reserve.
Selling as I have pretty much lost interest with other projects going on, was off the road for a while, got it MOTed and the love hasn’t rushed back so time to move it on.
I did what you’re not meant to do and modified a trophy 🤣 but she was never going to be a showroom model so may as well be as good as it can be on the road right? 🤣

We think nowhere near what it owes you! Stick it in the garage mothballed. So here I am again getting the itch for something else not long after owning for a year and rebuilding. What do we think? Boosted forged lump, carbon everywhere, yozza… couple marks here an there but nothing major… stacks of history and a fresh mot…View attachment 1613620View attachment 1613621
Quite a bit I recon. 1200-1500, especially if you don't use the word mint anywhere in the advert. What's a good set of recaros worth these days, got a mint full leather set with the F1 bases with all the relevant Renault stickers underneath. Were destined for my Supra, but going with standard instead now.

They fetch about £1k if you have Clio seat frames, a touch more on lower bases. Sadly as touch less on the standard Megane bases.
I'm pretty sure some sold for 1200 recently, and yours look to be in better condition. Did you buy them or did they come with a car?
I sold mine with Jon Foz lowered frames for £900 mate. The frames are like £300 on their ownI'm pretty sure some sold for 1200 recently, and yours look to be in better condition. Did you buy them or did they come with a car?
Just looked at eBay completed listings and you're c**k on. No idea why I had it in my head that they were 1200+, perhaps thinking of the later Recaros you get in the 200 and Meg 250 etc.I sold mine with Jon Foz lowered frames for £900 mate. The frames are like £300 on their own
Cancelled this auction? Was looking forward to the last minute bidding war even though I don't need them hahaCame with the car with custom bases, but they bases are made to sit under the Meggy bases and the top of the seat is in the roof lining, need to be 4ft to sit in them! I could have some more bases made but being honest, I don't want too 😅
Chucked em up, going to post them in the eBay section here too incase anyone isn't an eBay frequenter on here and wants to make an offer.
