wheels are currently black
negatives:
steering wheel as all 182's, grips been removed due to perishing

I probably know the answer but is it going to be better to return it to standard and sell the modifications separately?

Any more info required in order to give a more accurate idea, let me know.

As above really.
I have a 54 plate renault sport clio ll 182 FF.
Unfortunately the time has come when I need to go sensible and get an estate. (Boring I know makes me sick in my mouth alittle at the very thought)

Now I love the car so im biased, but its got fsh proof of tensioner and idler and belt for aux done.
Now this is the tricky part, it has had cambelt done at Arnold Clark before I bought it, but being an ass!! I haven't got a clue where the reciept is so can't prove it without ripping engine mount off to prove it isnt an original belt.

I had it up at £3190... then after looking at a few on here people were buying on here lowered it to £2390 because of no proof of cam belt. ....
But I look at some on the net and there are 172s going for more with more mileage and some scabby 182s with more mileage too going for more..... so i am completely stuck on where I should be pitching it at.
Any help and advice would be massively appropriated.

So you know there is a ''What is my car worth'' thread, yet you felt the need to start this thread??

it's 50/50 why your car hasn't sold. It's either too expensive or your advert is crap/chavvy. Those are the only two reasons people can't sell cars.

It's all about the advert.

Maybe you have poor pics, bad spelling, uneasy layout on the eyes, not advertising in the right place etc etc.

You haven't even specified mileage or anything, but with no proof of a belt change - £500 from similar cars.

Pics are good. Im used tl buying and selling cars as a job but now this is my own personal car and theres so many different variations im stuck at what to price it at.
Would like a quick sale but dont want to rob my self

Im asking if im pricing my vehicle correct to the current market and this is why I lowered my price.
But is it correct that's why I'm asking.
Mileage is 75k sorry for not specifying

Can you afford to get the belts done yourself and then market it for around ~£3000? For many, just having to get the belts changed straight away is a put off, there are plenty of RS Clio's on the market at bonkers low prices these days, so as soon as there's some aggro getting one sorted, many will simply stroll by it and buy another that's already had the work done - if someone is selling a car when the belts need doing, or a big service is due then I'd wonder whether the owner could really afford to run the car properly, and therefore did they skimp on any other areas in their ownership.

What colour blue is it. How many keys does it have. What tyres are on it. How much tread is there left. Any recent work to make it stand out such as new brakes/exhaust etc. Any modifications? How much tax & MOT? Any bodywork damage at all?

Yeah I see what you're saying.
Makes sense really. I could get it done but with me wanting to sell up and would be happy tbh at 2.5k for it, it almost seems like im defying the object of selling it if ya k ow what I mean.

This is all listed on my adverts.
Was just simply asking on the other thread what is to be expected of a car at 3k and whats to be expected of a car at 2k.
Simple question for a simple answer, so I would have a ball park figure so I knew I was on the correct track.

But seen as your asking.

the milage is 77500 it has 12 months MOT with one months tax.
Full service history with book all stamped up.
Just been serviced with 5w40 fully synthetic oil.
4 good tyres. Front two YOKOHOMA. 3mm tread depth.
Front Mintex discs and pads only covering 300 miles.
Rear mintex pads same mileage.
Stainless back box (believe to be miltek, could be wrong)
2 little dents on roof from truck strap.
Little dent on bonnet and various stone chips on bonnet as usual on these.
Little scratch from some one opening door on ns 1/4 .
Bout it.
