Im searching for a 172 sport. Just wandered how much you lot would pay for the following:

X reg 172 in silver, Black full leather, 21,000 miles, fsh?

I looked at a Ph1 172 with similar miles and age for £7,000 at a dealer.

Id say 6.5-7 due to the low mileage

Im selling mine for 7.5k Mk2, black, 27,000 miles, FSH, 51 plate

If it helps, I bought my X reg 172 with fsh and 35k for £6,245. That was 4 months ago mind

Private sale in good condition Id say 6k from trade £6.7k

You can get mk1s with 60k on the clcok for £5k from private sales that would be my choice as high milage is no problem so long as you recognise the 72k service is an expensive one.

X reg in black here, owned 2 weeks lol, had 33k on the clock and got it for 5700 private sale.

Looked at one the same age at a dealer that had been modded but less miles and it was 6500.

Cheers for the replies. The garage I saw that price in had the car up for £7495.

From all your replies it seems way to high. I was thinking about getting a private sale, just a bit nervious to buy without a guarentee.

I need the sort of deal Evoo got.

Get an AA inspection with it.£149 if i remember.They are quite good

AA stoped doin those inspections now apparently so one of the managers of the now nationwide autocentre.

I rang the garage and told them I had 6.5k to spend. They told me to go down and speak to them. Probably go for a test drive in it later see what its like.

In the advert it did state full leather. But im guessing they meant half.

I agree with £6.5k if its any good will offer £6.5 for it. It should be a good example with that low miles.

Apart from the Ph1 172 Exclusive (which has full leather) and the Ph2 172 and 182 Cup variants (cloth), the 172s share the same leather/alcantara seats.
