How smooth and hot are your rear discs?

I have some concerns about my rear discs on my 172 cup , they never seem to get warm even after long drives, is this normal?

and they dont feel smooth to touch, eg if you run ya finger over the frount ones its a glass like texure, but the rears are rough and are full of grooves.

the rears hardly do any braking at all...

mine used to look like THIS before i changed them! lol

I dont think Cup's actually USE the rear discs lol.

They all fail on the brakes come MOT time for this reason even though they are made like it!

Someone more technical will answer but in the meantime search "Cup MOT"

Rear disk do barly any work in the Cups so I wouldn't worry.
Disks are most likly to rust before they become to thin.
