How the 197 SHOULD have looked from the factory?

This is K-tec's 197 demo. It currently has 18's, coilovers, full exhaust system and genuine Renault sport body additions.

Subtle, apart from the stickers, and going for a remap soon...

What do you think?

it does look good i think the spoiler is a bit to agresive and not made my mind up on the side skirts but the spliter is a good adition thats why i have one just need to get round to fitting it

17s are big enough imo, how does it effect the handling? The bodykit is a little ott in my opinion, especially the rear spoiler. Not bad though, looks good for a kit but wouldn't be suitable as the original car from the factory.

Have to agree, should have came out the factory that way. The stance is much better on it and body additions finish it off nicely.

k-tec are the only distributor I believe, apparently if you ring renaultsport direct, they say they are'nt available... now I know you can't believe that of renault!

I don't think it looks bad but I do prefer the std exhaust...not keen on the way the exhausts stick out on this imo

Wasn't there a good reason Renault kept the exhaust hidden? Aerodynamics through the diffuser or something? Maybe the chav spoiler is to make up for this?!

The exhaust does LOOK better but the rest looks s**t imo. None of those stick on parts look like they belong on the car

Naaa, that's not my cup of tea at all! The front looks ok at a glace I suppose, definitely don't like the side skirts, they just look sooooo clipped on.

Looks good, but I wouldnt say it looks any better than a standard 197 tbh.

Sideskirts look like halfords clip on's imo

Not keen whatsoever, apart from the wheels and the lowering. The spoiler and bodykit are just too OTT IMO.

looked awesome in the flesh made me want one, didnt realise they were 18" !

knew it was lowered but thought they were 17`s with H&R spacers.

just needs the meggy turbo engine to match it imo


sadly handling wont be as crisp with 18`s on id expect
