How to Fit 6x9s

Hi im a new clio owner and am looking to get to work straight away on updating the soundsystem. Can anyone tell me how to wire up 6x9s to the parcel shelf?
help would be much appreciated!

Get yourself a good set of component speakers for the front mate. Have you changed your head unit?

cheers people for the replys! i have changed my head unit to an Kenwood KDC head unit, and then was contemplating 6x9s but i know not to! thanks again!

My car came with 6 bananas and they infact sound ok, some unbranded things but dont look to bad and sound half decent! And my shelf hasnt sagged...yet

Wiring them up isn't really an issue until you have sorted how you intend to install them....

BUT; First things first....

Will you be fitting any type of sub in the boot???

If yes, then give the 6x9s a miss, if no, then I would recommend you seriously consider either making or purchasing a 'stealth shelf' to guard against both theft & shelf sag....

I would also recommend you seriously consider using an amp to drive the fronts & the 6x9s as this will improve overall flexibility & quality....

Obviously ignore the above if a sub is in your future plans....

i used the original shelf got some 6x9 cut outs from mdf. attached them underneath. then used a 2cm plastic surrounded turned upside down and then attached my 6x9's to that. Created my own stealth shelf then attach the amp to the back of the seat. run the wires tidily and a sub mounted in the tire well, components at the front. its a beautiful sound

Iv got 6x9s in my parcel shelf and have been there for ages! my parcel shelf is fine. Iv upgraded my components aswel and the sound is quality.
Depends how much money your wanting to spend on sounds really
