How to make gearbox "tighter"

Hey guys, im happy with my 182 but i think on a trackday id be very wary of the gears as they just dont seem firm, like letting on and off the power the gearstick moves slightly... In previous cars this has been caused by the lower engine mount (dog bone mount),... am i right in thinking this is most likely the case with the clio ? Anyone have any ideas how long a genuine renault one should last? as im contemplating going powerflex.

iirc the dogbone mount is ropey on the 1*2s so going aftermarket is prob a good idea

there's a thread from a couple of days ago warning you for the uprated lowermounts ..

Í thought about Powerflex but am sticking another OEM one on there .

A shortshifter would solve your problem ? I've decided to go for this one and keep to OEM mounts + change them more often i guess..
