How to remove cup spoiler light??

Car  e92 + E46 M3 + Cup
How do i remove the cup spoiler brake light? want to get it painted up but the washer & brake light will obvoiusly need to be removed & before i can continue, there looks like a red clip or summit coming from the inside but not sure :S

will be alot eiser to pop the brake light out from behind it as trying to lever/prise it out from the front is going to result in a new brake light

Yea thats not a prob as its on my kitchen table, just wanted to know the best way of doing it, as you have said, dont wanna break it :dapprove: , is it just a case of pushing it out then?

yeah mate i think theres like bits on the light were it sort of locks in to the spoiler but juststart pushing it out from inside in one corner and keep working round tking your time

Just started havin a go... the end seems to be coming out but the middle is proving stuborn & dont want to Crack it so have pushed it back for now.. what is holding this in placce, Glue or just a clip?

Couzens, £30 down the pan would not be good mate.. wanna get the decat next week, & the rs tuning kit tonight.. this 172 aint a cheap project, well what car isn't lol

there should be no glue mate unless the previous owner hs done it
i think its a bit like taking the side badges off were you think if i oush that little bit hrder im gonna snap something then ping and its out

again push from behind,lol
tht one sholudnt be a prob as i hd to take mine off mny time while still fixed to the fluid tube to get the right length of tube as it used to stop the spoiler from sitting flush on the boot
