How to remove Java 6 update 3

I can't seem to get rid of the above by using Add or Remove programmes, and I can't find a folder anywhere on my hard drive that looks like a Java related folder.

I get the foll messages when I try to remove it:

''The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable''.

''The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it''.

Any help appreciated.
