How to remove pins from coilpack connector junior power timer

Is there any easy way of doing this without the proper tool ? I need to replace the connector but cant free the pins

Was 2 , just seemed to be two tight for the paper clips to get in , I ended up performing surgery on it ! I've now got the replacement fitted and its locked in place :)

i keep saying i'll have to buy a depinning tool kit but with the price of them i'll wait until i run out of paper clips and pins.

Stupid prices arent they ! Was hoping the paperclips would work ! Funny enough I accidentally pushed the wrong colour into the hole in the new connector and managed to remove with paperclip !

they are easier to remove if you take a bit too much tension off the plug, cocked up that way a couple of times myself :rolleyes:
