how to remove this console pannel??????

want to remove it to install some sort of led to light up the centre part cos always end up fumbling about for something in the dark ... cheers for any help...
the panel monkey is pointint to ....

your prob going to have alot of gubbins behind there, what with the AC unit begin just above

It just pops off try a flat headed screwdriver in the top part of it dead easy!

I took mine out coz th previous owner put bloddy Free Max Power LED Footwell Lights in and cut into the Cig Lighter and now that he's had that up and down, up and down, up and down.

Now when ever i unplug my NavMan it pulls the hole thing out!!! WHat can i do to keep it down apart from Super Glue?? lol

yeah it should just pull straight out. otherwise its a case of taking out the ashtray, pulling out the rest of that section and tehn it'll come out easier.

pull out the tray that the monkey is sitting in first,then you can use a screw driver to lever it from the bottom and it just pops off,nothing behind it,pretty empty,radio directly above
