What are you trying to achieve by this?

The upper is almost no different, except the 182 has an extra vacuum fitting for the carbon canister, and where it bolts on at the back. No point changing the upper whatsoever. The RS embossed lower is worth using

The lower inlet manifold which has the RS stamped on it is better matched to the cylinder head than earlier versions Which were pretty poor!

Hence people getting their inlets matched!;)

he means the lower part of the inlet manifold. two parts, top and bottom. the bottom half which attaches to the head of the engine.

genuine one's ( or the good ones ) are stamped with R S on them.

do you have pics of top part and bottom?

it's not a stamp, it's big 2 inch high letters, cast into the front of the middle 2 ports. right behind the fuel rail guard

Only real way is to physically check, teke the fuel rail guard off and should be able to see. No nothing like the RS lettering on top. Simple 'R S' pretty much in this sort of font.
