How to turn off the auto type on Windows

Hi have the auto type thing that remebers words that you have typed in. Can't remember how to switch it off. Anybody know as its pissing me off.

Take this is in internet explorer or Firefox?

In IE do this
Click Tools> Internet Options.
Content Tab
Auto Complete Section, click Settings
Untick which options you dont wish (Forms is like IE searches).
Click OK, then Apply.

Close IE then open again.

I know that one, it's for windows rather than the net. So if i search for a document by clikcing on start than search. It remembers all the previous words typed in

Its linked to the internet explorer option I think. turn it off and try it.
