Hub Carrier/ renault bad service

My 2010 200 cup with 36,000 had mot and service at local Renault dealer told car required tracking? they were unable to do as did not want to scratch alloys? so took to National Tyres and was tracked said it was out to my surprise, anyway after that the car handled VERY strangley in left hand corners it felt like it wanted to turn on itself or flip so took it back to have the tracking check all ok, so took it back to Main dealer and demanded they take a good luck underneath and to my absolute amazement reported that the offside hub carrier and associated links etc had collapsed they said never seen another like it !!, so how the hell did it pass an mot? and finally that was on December the 11th and my car still remains at this dealer as Renault have no parts even in France and are waiting for them to be made and as of today i still have no car but when i do i have to part with £749.00 to get it back i can confirm its never been in any accident or pot hole. extremely disappointed and disillusioned

surely Renault would of found the fault on the mot.. i would contact Renault uk ,tell them your story, they might as a good will gesture give a discount of the part maybe labour ..if they haven't seen the fault before,it maybe a parts failure ,it is worth a try,the car is only 5 years old.. always go to a wheel alignment specialist.. never take it to a Tyre changing chain.. you have to pay abit more is worth it ,you get a print out of all the cars camber /caster and all that stuff.. this might be the number 0344 335 0000 for Renault uk ... say you have owned Renault cars before..and you intend to own them in the future.. you can also use to your advantage waiting on the part..having weeks with no car has been a big inconvenience .. worth a try.. i did it once i got 25% knocked off, the dealership gets the money from Renault.. they dont lose out
