Isn't some one selling a naples on here, with 17 inch momo arrow's?? Can't remember exactly who's, but it looks quality and a snip at just over 2K if memory serves????

Naples, glitter paint is very much last season.

Anyway, the modifying scene is all about performance over style now... ;)

I wouldn't go for the first one because of the paintwork and I wouldn't touch the naples one because mileage, it's not just the engine and gearbox you have to worry about.

however waitey's does appear to have been looked after and serviced well.

IMO, you should go for a Low mileage, standard Valver, that way you will bet almost certain that it haven't taken to much of a beating!!!

i reckon so, iirc somebody travelled up from the isle of wight to somewhere near here to fetch a naples red one. Might have been Ross16v who's posted in this thread although i'm not 100% sure who it was.

yep as said above it would have to be the naples.....

and also as said above i wouldn't particularly like to buy a car with 100k + either but this is different as i know from history that it has been looked after....would go with waiteys

Scott-16v!, yes it was me who went up to get the naples one mentioned earlier. It wasnt a problem, and i got a fun drive back down. Just make sure its in good enough condition before you travel up.

The black one has 107 on the clock, damn it!
Waiteys is a mint motor, i love it im just seriously worried about the mileage, there are 2 blue 16v's in teh forsale bit that are both mint with 70k on the clock, im just waitng for them to come online

Why are you so fussed about the mileage? My valver's on 125k and it ran sweeter than any of the others I looked at, some were on 40k less at the time. They're good engines if they're taken care of, you could find a shagged 50k one if they've not looked after it. 100+k miles is only average anyway, they're old cars. I'd go for a standard, sweet running one with high miles. You'll pay less for it then because there'll always be people who want to pay more a low miler, no matter if it doesn't run as nicely as yours. They're 10+ year old french cars, they're all going to have needed practically everything replacing at some point unless you find one in a cupboard in the back of the factory :) Getting a cheaper one also leaves you a budget to do a few bits, has anyone on here bought a valver (more than two weeks ago) that they haven't needed to spend money on?

yes me, i bought a near mint one last May and all i have had to spend on it was having the front brakes sorted for the M.O.T. back in september. Apart from that its been 100% reliable, she's just gone on to 85k. Imo its worth getting one thats been looked after.
