Unless your totally desperate for the cash i.e. some bounty hunter is chasing you for your ball sack or £3,500 then just be patient and don't drop the price anymore!
First things first - do what Daniel said and remove the plate.
Focus on the good aspects like 12 months MOT and 6 months tax, recent cambelt change (everyone wants to know that), well looked after by local specialist, average mileage, blah blah blah. Then take a few different photos with the car in a nice location and you will get interest. Also, take a new picture of all of your paperwork placed neatly together, it looks like you have just pulled it out the glovebox and chucked it on a table. In a flooded market little things like that can make a difference.

  None :(
good points above, and noted thanks :)

Someone said earlier that cup packs are wanted more. But am i right thinking you have more aftermarket suspension modifications to choose from, with the none-cup 182's?

Damn i hope i dont have his problem when mines ready :dapprove:

lol 77k is your problem!

i payed £4895 for the exact same car, same colour but... with 8.300 miles on the clock

i have just picked up a 04 182 in blue with both cup packs, few more thousand miles and iv had to book it in for a cambelt, advertised for 4400, i took it for 3400, its deffinitley a buyers market which is fine because your next car will be cheaper, its all relative.

Sounds a good deal that, well done!

you've got to love an opinion quoted as a fact

99.999999999999999999999% of everything on a forum is opinion, fact ;)

Possibly the most annoying saying in the entire world. Its always a buyers market. Always has been, always will be.

Jesus have 182 prices dropped that much? I sold my 182 for £5350 in December. Car was on 65k/2004.

  172 mk2
i would skip straight pass this on AT purely for the fact that the wheels have been furbed' making me think young ish driver - revving and racing/cruzing etc etc..

that would be my view as i search, obviously not saying you are any of these, just a constructive POV.

am I getting a decent deal with a 70000 mile black 182 no cup packs, full renault history, 2005, 12 months mot and 6 months tax? been offered it for 4k.

I dont know how someone could say your car is overpriced, OP, it seems well priced to me just not after a silver one!

Sounds expensive for the miles - I sold an arctic blue 182 with both cup packs in immaculate condition with about 45k (ish I think) on the clock for 5100 about December 2008....

It's a Renault Sport ffs! It's designed to be revved you mug, if he was to say this car has never seen more than 30mph would you buy it then?

He didn't mean it like that.

I know what he means... I'd see the black wheels and go straight to the next 182... it's not as if they're rare.

This man speaks sense.

I wouldn't though, if it had lexarse lights and a halfords spoiler with wolfrace wheels then yeah but standard wheels painted in a different albeit subtle colour no.

I traded my 54 plate with 64k ish with similar good history for £4700. He marked it up for £6000 (Vauxhall main dealer) then dropped it to £5500 - still dont know if it has gone now TBH or gone elsewhere to be sold.

So I think yours is quite a good price TBH. If I was trading in for £4700 you'd have expected the car to go for £5200 at least. Yours is six months older with a bit more miles. £4500 private I think personally.

Agree about the non standard wheels. Put me off immediately. People are looking for standard all the way. Get them changed and it'll be off your hands in no time.
