just fitted my sub and amp with a new headunit, now theres 1 thin blue wire comming from the amp, the remote lead, and i cant find out where it goes in the head unit, anyone got any ideas?, theres no power to the amp either, will this sort the problem?

yeah that will sort the problem. look for a wire lablled rem or remote. if there isnt one just put a switch on the end of it and connect to +12v.

The remote is usually a blue or blue/white wire in the hu loom somewhere.
