i cant afford to change my car right now so im looking for a big ower mod to match my mates mgzr105, i thought about a de-cat or chip. i have a viper kit and k-tec system soon but i need more. any ideas welcome.
i so badly wanna change it for a 172 now my insurance has come down but i dont wanna wait untill next year when my 3 years are up! can i opt out of my contract now?
NOS only easy hp mod 20hp should be ok.
Then stip the car out.
Get a Uni chip or similar and have a remap made for 98 octane and one only use that.
Cams should eb about £350 to have all done.
BenR reconed the heard being done should give a few more hp which will cost you about £650 all in I guess.
You could return the car and walk away I think now as the cars worth about what you owe on it but thats the point may as well save your money for a 172 next yr or a 182 and have some more miles in the 1.2
how did u do that mate, im 2 years in, ive paid about 5.5k and still owe about 6k so if i want to buy a 172 on the fourcourt how do i do it?
well i thought of making it in to a killing machine and trying to stick a turbo in it but it wouldnt be worth it. im trying to get rid of my dynamique so i can buy a sport. im gonna see the dealer this week.

here we go,

1500 deposit
alarm + 300
metallic paint + 250ish
36 payments of 172.16
final payment of 3.214
plus intrest
10 % apr total amount payable 10,986
yeah thats what they said, i think i got a calculation wrong somewhere but i know the overall price is the 10,986. so if i have paid 5200 and still owe 5700ish how can i upgrade my motor after 2 years? i know they will not give me the book price for it.
renaultsport83 you owe less than the cars worth so if you take the car into the dealer you will have to pay about 1k just to finish your contract I guess. Your best of contacting Renault finance and asking about ending your contract they may offer the ability to drop your car of at a Renault dealership and leave the car like than and you get nothing back. Then your free to go to the dealer and buy a 172 however you want either on a finace deal or getting a persoanl loan etc. By doing this you a cash buyer and when you pick your car up you can just return the 1.2 at the same time.
Remapped derv Golf
Get another loan from a bank (6.9%) for say 9k? Pay off the 1.2s 6k. Leaves you with 3k and your car 5.5k ish to buy a 172 for 8.5k. Second hand with highish miles im affard. Talking lots of money either way including insurance.
Unless you get a mk1 172 for 7k to save money.
