Hey

Im soon to turn 19 and i'll have 2 years no claims in july (fingers crossed)

Im looking at getting a 172, i love the look of the cup, but that would be even more to insure right?

How much would i be looking at to insure one of these? Also i do about 250 miles a week, are they expensive to run? Not really that bothered with mpg aslong as it isnt appauling.

MPG 30-40 depending on how you drive.

Insurace at your age around about £1800 or so, do a couple of online quotes and see.

i do about 300 a week at £35-40 ish i would guess.

direct line will probably do an online quote for you too.

£1800 isnt as bad as i thought, may consider it Would 182's be anymore as well?

not always, but some insurance companies wont touch it, ala greenlight

Well I'm 19 now and just got my first quote, £3400 with adrian flux...... Not a very good start if you ask me. Any chance someone could compile me a list of the best insurers to get a quote off?

most companies wont insure a cup unless your 21 iirc...thats what i got told
