I need a decent Laptop for University

im gonna need 2 buy a new laptop. anyway ill mostly be using it for internet access(spamming cliosport), alot of tunes and least importantly some uni work lol. i was thinkign of goign down the apple route? tbh i dotn know much about laptops but iv been seeing pc world knocking out what looks like a good deal for less then £500, any suggestions?

acer do good value decent spec laptops. I've used them a few times.

I would look at Mac's, going off your requirements above. If you want to stick with PC laptops, I personally prefer HP ones. They seem a good balance of performance against cost.

get a mac, got an ibook 4 years ago now and aint let me down once. wouldnt go bk to pc's also they do student discount on the apple website. knocks abit off

^ yes or go to a non apple site that has rebuilds i find u can get a good deal off them and also get a short warrenty.
