i want h&r coilovers

this has to be my next mod. not cheap £675 i think, but -75mm at rear and -100mm at front!! my only concern is how harsh the ride is going to be. i dont want the other half constantly nagging about how hard the ride is anybody whos got them how firm are they compared to just uprated springs that i have at the moment?

Dont think any normal coilover go this low at the front I think 80 is about the max.

Fred has custom coilover on his car (100mm) but 75mm on a cup is equal to 95 on a dynamic like Freds and he would have problems with the arch liners etc.

The ride would have very little roll in it but damping rates are usually set only slight higher than normal so the ride shouldnt be that much worse.

ride isnt harsh and they dont lower -75 at rear and -100 at the front, its -75 front and -55 rear on a 172/cup ive had mine fitted over a year and although the ride is firmer it isnt harsh at all, its very supple and not far off the factory in terms of smoothness but corners flatter than a hedgehog thats just been hit by an artic

mates got h&rs on his VR6 u can hardle feel the bumps better then standard id say for ride

iv only had it dropped 30 and u feel it too, still got 16s n over a bumpy road its a bone shaker, 75 n 100...u must be hardcore eh
