ICE - JBL or Rainbow

I'm about to upgrade my system and I'm looking for advice, I have a 2 door 98 clio2, which has been modified from the original install. It is currently setup like this;

HU = Sony 7750s with 10 disc changer in boot
Fronts = Caliber CSV5 comps
Rear = Raptor 53 full range
MDF shelf = inphase 6*9s power by an inphase IPA400 amp

I want a nice loud and powerful sound and I'm looking at buying a decent set of comps for the front and good sub and amp for boot. I was thinking about amping the new front comps and having these as the only speakers in the cabin. I have read the comments about 6*9s and rear speakers. I was looking at the following;

And this sub and amp http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4278&cadid=a46fc61ae792a311f97ba280509c863c

I need some advice, which comps? do they need an amp? if so which one? and what do you think of the sub?

Cheers - LF

Please dont get 6x9s, especially with a sub, it will sound pish!

Spend the money you were going to spend on rear speakers and 6x9s on a set of components for the front an damp them up. Then a good sub and amp for the boot, best sound stage you can get, rear fill sounds crap.

BTW Rainbow over JBL 8 days a week

i agree with everything he says ;) if u know anything about audio you wont install 6x9's with a sub, as for jbl and rainbow both good setups, i'd gof or rainbow however purly because of reputation
