Ideas for modding a 5 door X reg 8v Clio?

Hello good people of Clio sport


I've been given this Clio by my Parents for my 17th and am looking to making it more my own car and am looking for some modding ideas,I know its not the fastest thing on the road but I'm looking to make it my own. Nothing too over the top like big bore exhausts and stuff just something modest Thanks

if your not thinking of anything expensive... all the cheap mods are:

Bosh aero wipers,
Silvervision indicator bulbs/Osram Diadem
de-badging (maybe not on a phase one as it will leave holes in the boot)
DIY painting badges
Clear side repeaters
PH2 rear lights
Speaker/Head Unit upgrade?

The (more) expensive things people tend to do are:

Alloys (your car, your choice)
Coilovers or lowering springs (dependant on budget)
Spacers for alloys
Dual optic conversion (this can be cheap if you can source the light units cheaply and can follow a guide on here)
Induction kits (only for noise on a 1.2, lets be honest here!)


That's about all I can think off from the top of my head...

Welcome to the forum. I too wouldn't bother with the modifications as you'll only lose money, especially when it comes to re-sale. Keep it clean and tidy, run it around for a year or two, get some NCB's then upgrade to something better.
