Image Uploader

[KDF]

I noticed a lot of you have trouble finding space to upload images for posting on this forum so I created on for peeeps on this board.

just click highlight all, copy, then click the image button on the cliosport post window and paste the location into it and click ok and you should get something like...

The uploader will automagically watermark it with the cliosport logo.. thx to jas for the permission to use the logo.

I am also working on a video uploader as a I have a windows media streaming server

ps. thanks to whoevers clio that is .. worked nicely as a test image..

aha! I had a space at the end of the filename. problem sorted!

thanks.. it should have fixed the space in the image name by adding a %20 to it.

hmm, nevermind.

rockport, its a nifty feature of PHP, you have to add some different modules into the server and set them up to load when you start php... easy

aha .. there is a space at the end when u do highlight all, that was causing a conflict with the forum.. i will fix it just now.... fixed

I have also brought the transparancy up a bit so that the logo is more visable..eg.

erm .. my server has got just under half a terrabyte thats 480 Gigabyte.. or 4800000 megabytes ..

plenty of space..

Right Ive had 3 goes and it wont chuffing work... the PC is about to go out the window

How do you load the piccies onto the server available?

1) goto http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/

2) click browse, and select the image on your hard drive that you want to upload (must be a .jpg for now) select it and click ok

3) click upload, depending on the size of the image and your upload speed it may take a few seconds.

4) it will now display the image with the cliosport watermark on it and a box with the location of the image.

5) click highlight all and then press ctrl+c to copy the location

6) go to the cliosport forums and click the "add image" button, now clear that box of the http:// and press ctrl+v to paste in the new location.. click okay

7) your done.. type the rest of your message and click post reply.
