Improving Grounding on car

  Clio 1.4 16v dynamique 03
Im running a monoblock amp at 800 rms and a another amp at 200 rms

that totals just under 80 amps..

i got told to use MINIMUM 4awg wiring....which seems resonable

my other concern though is the ground from chassis to the battery is not a 4awg...so obviously this shows some ressistance.

(i.e if i run at 0awg Possitive cable ...but the ground from battery to the chassis is a 4awg then in theory my 0awg power cable is only running at 4awg)

So someone told me to increase size of thickness on my ground cable.which i did

But what about the alternator.does that need new wiring.if so HOW!

The engine on a clio is SO TIGHT! no room at all. changing a bulb is tricky enough

My amp seems to hit protection mode a lot....(cos there aint enought power getting to it)

Someone help!

Plus is there a posstive and negative on an alernator i can only see one wire from it

  Polo + Micra
that will be near 100A most probs

i only upgraded the ground from the batt to chassis to 25mm2

the alt will be earthed through the engine iirc

the protection light might be comming on because the earth from the amp to chassis amoung other things

were did you get them black ligts from that are in ya pic dink

the ground is a 4awg and is about 50 cms long!

the ground is fine on the amp to body

did it make a difference wen u upgraded size of that ground on the batteyr

  Polo + Micra
yeah it stopped the lights from dimming on hard bass beats

there led black lights (don't know where from as they were a gift)
