Inactive Sim - Vodafone contract

Bought a W900 yesterday on vodafone, and I'm still getting Inactive Sim showing up on the screen, tried restarting the phone etc, but its still not activated.

Surely it would've been activated by now? perhaps some phone gurus would know.

Prob won't get activated until after crimbo now.

Anyone else had problems with their new phones not being activated?

Had this many years ago on Voda, they said to wait due to high demand/lack of staff over xmas...

rung Carphone Warehouse and they put me on hold for over 10 minutes on a nice national rate number... said it should be activated by tomorrow morning.
