induction kit for rs 172

hi guys i want to get an induction kit from halfords but just the cone filter for the better sound iv just spend £450 getting the cambelt and aux belt done so i dnt wana spend too much only bout £40 max will it reduce the bhp of my car by putting a filter on becouse of sucking the hot air in is there any way of getting the great sound and not loosing any power?

Remove the accoustic valve.

In the wrong section dude, but standard airbox is the best setup. Buy a new panel filter if you want buy anything. A remove the accoustic valve for a bit more sound.
