Unless you really want the sound then i would say no. Its £90, then once you tell your insurance company they will want about £90 again depending on your policy/age and as a result of all this you wont really notice any power increase at all.
IMO better spending the money towards suspension upgrades/brakes.
Unless of course just just want that induction noise then go for it
That K&N will lose you power by sucking all the hot air in from the engine bay. Just get a replacement filter. Hit the search button there are loads and loads of threads on induction kits, which is probably why you did not get a response very quickly!!
Paul.
the first kit you showed are about £130ish from ktec, so if you do buy it would be a good saving as long as the filter is in good condition.
i would have wanted one of them, but ive bought a second hand pipercross, and can always buy the relocation pipe seperate.
thats the problem with clios, because of the airbox you have to buy a specialist kit, ie pipercross or k&n, and not just a universal filter! (1.2 16v clios i mean!)
apparently pipercross are the best for sound, but if there is any power difference i havent noticed it!
have got a pipercross on the cup is quite noisey but i dont think it makes much differnce(is that spelt right????????)cant say it has improved performance.
