Induction Kit

I was sittin at work today with engine goin and car was ideling rather lump went under bonet and felt my K&N and it was raostin and i mean hot same with the Elbow, dose anyone know if you can just buy the enclosed head of an induction kit or do you have to buy a full kit..?

Is there any other way to solve my problem ??

solution - fit the standard airbox with a decent panel filter. k&n etc, cheaper, less chavvy and your car will be slightly faster

Only got the air box in the garage my rents decided to throw the origional pipe and intake in the bin :/

Could get some kind of heat shield for it.

Unfortunately the airbox/cone filters do get hot under there. Only thing to do is protect em if you can.

Cos your not sucking hot air in ''direct'' with a air box

you could always order some CAF and pipe that to a std air box.
