Megane 225
Last weekend was the first chance I got to have a look at my 225. Only had her 3 weeks and had been itching to get the buffer at it! As you can see the car was filthy before starting. Well there's no point starting with a clean car!!
So 1st stage was a good rinse with the power hose and lots of snow foam.
Wheels off and Arches cleaned with Megs APC and a brush.
Calipers cleaned with megs apc and sealed with Chem Guys Blittz
Arches dressed with AG Vinyl and Rubber care.
Wheels cleaned with megs apc and sealed with Blitz, then waxed with Collinite.
Exhausts cleaned with Brasso Duraglit and sealed with blitz, then waxed with collinite.
Car was then washed with 2 bucket method and duragloss shampoo.
Dried with Microfibre towel and Megs Last touch.
Taped up ready for polished.
There were quite alot of swirls and randomed scratches, so after a play about I decided 3m Fast-Cut plus on a 3m Green pad was the best combo.
Refined with 3m Yellow top on a LCC white pad, then further refined with 3m ultrafina on a 3m blue pad.
Isopropanol wipe down before applying 2 coats of Blitz and 2 coats of Swissvax Onyx.
Glass cleane with AG Glass polish and waxed with collinite.
Total time taken just under 13 hours.
