And thanks Mr Fubar! only part im not 100% happy with is the finish on the top of the engine! which if i was doing it again i may have polished or may even spray! its hard getting a good smooth finish on a rough pittered cast bit of engine! (but im just being picky which isnt like me at all )

So what did you use if it wasn't spray? You could always have sprayed the whole lot and sanded the letters down...

Paul used a Papermate permanent marker pen iirc... he was out there all night colouring the engine in!


or, maybe... he used some black heat resistant brush on paint from Halfords as explained earlier!
