And thanks Mr Fubar! only part im not 100% happy with is the finish on the top of the engine! which if i was doing it again i may have polished or may even spray! its hard getting a good smooth finish on a rough pittered cast bit of engine! (but im just being picky which isnt like me at all )

So what did you use if it wasn't spray? You could always have sprayed the whole lot and sanded the letters down...
that'll be why then. jsut sell it and buy a lotus tbh

A bit of fine wire wool and some more metal polish and thos pipes will come up even shiner only got some half done ones of mine
tbh i could spend for ever on these, were do you find fine wire wool please - i have some corse stuff that was from focus but at times it a bit harsh on certain things!
