My mate has a Mk2 ph1 Clio and we are trying to find where the feed from the battery goes into the inside of the car, anyone help us on this please?

Also the amp manual suggests the "gnd" terminal on the amp should connect to the negative terminal on the battery but, I thought like it state in the amp wiring kit the amp should have an earth, which one is correct?

the gnd terminal on the amp should go to a bolt in the boot somewhere.
