Installing Alpine Head Unit

Hi i am trying to install a apline headunit in my car and have got it all working apart from the driving wheel controls, so does anyone have a link to the wiring instructions for the steering wheel controls and does anyone know if a ren-sony connection will still work for a ren-alpine

if you go on to car audio direct they sell the adapter which you need to use the steering wheel controls with the alpine h/u

so im gessing the sony one wont fit then and does anyone know where the wiring diagram is??
